WHAT:
Councilmember Zach M. Klein, chair of the Development
Committee, will hold a public hearing to discuss a proposed code change that
will increase the punishment for owners who fail to properly maintain their
property in a safe manner from a third degree misdemeanor to a first degree
misdemeanor. Public testimony will be
accepted and the meeting will be broadcast live on CTV, Columbus’ government
television channel 3 on local cable systems.
Speaker slips will be accepted on the day of the hearing until 5:00 pm.
General rules of speaking before Council will apply.
