Council President Welcomes Parsons Village to South Side

City Council President Andrew J. Ginther took part in the
opening of the Parsons Village Senior Apartments on South Washington
Avenue. Made possible by financial commitments from multiple public
partners, including the City of Columbus, the 56 new apartment homes offer safe and affordable housing for residents 55 and older.
“These
are exciting times in the Southern Gateway area along Parsons Avenue,” said
President Ginther. “In addition to Parsons Village, the city is working
with partners like Community Development for All People to construct 40 new
single-family homes in the area. Both the new John Maloney Health
facility and Reeb Community Center provide crucial neighborhood services that
Parsons Village residents can depend on.”
