Mills Meets With South Side Leaders To View Parsons Avenue Investments
Councilmember Michelle M. Mills, chair of the Development Committee, met with South Side leaders, including Parsons Avenue Merchants Association (PAMA) Executive Director Bob Leighty (at left in first picture), for a tour of the current and future investments along Parsons Avenue.
Councilmember Mills says the mix of new business investment, residential housing options, health care facilities, and fresh-food resources are helping to revitalize this important economic corridor.
“Parsons Avenue is the gateway to the South Side of Columbus,” said Councilmember Mills. “City Council is investing in the programs that are leading to increased economic activity in this area and helping to build stronger neighborhoods. It is an exciting time for PAMA and an exciting time for area residents.”
