Councilmember Page Hosts First of Summer Reading Challenge Events
Councilmember Jaiza Page held the first of a series of Page by
Page Summer Reading Challenge events at the Columbus Metropolitan
Library-Hilltop Branch. Councilmember Page, chair of the Education
Committee, wants to encourage kids to maintain their reading skills and limit
learning loss during the summer months.
“It is a joy to help children unlock the endless possibilities
that reading provides,” said Councilmember Page, who also chairs the Recreation
and Parks Committee. “Bringing families together at one of our great
Columbus Metropolitan Library facilities highlights the importance of
continuing educational opportunities while outside of the classroom during the
summer months.”
