Councilmember Paley Hosting 'Bringing The Courthouse To the Community' Event On Sept. 10
Councilmember Eileen Y. Paley, Chair of the City Council's Judiciary and Court Administration Committee, and Napoleon Bell, Director of the Community Relations Commission, are hosting "Bringing the Courthouse to the Community" on Sept. 10 at the Marion Franklin Recreation Center, 2801 Lockbourne Ave., Columbus.
The purpose of the meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m., will be to help citizens understand the court process, enhance communications, share resources and to "build a community for all."
Representatives of several agencies will be on hand including those from the City Attorney's Office; Public Defender's Office; Community Medication Services of Central Ohio; Franklin County Municipal Court and the Franklin County Municipal Court Clerk's Office.
