COVID-19 Vaccine

Columbus Public Health is distributing the safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Mon: 8 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
  • Tue: 10 a.m. – 6:15 p.m.
  • Wed: 8 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
  • Thu/Fri: 8 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. 

If clinics reach daily capacity, walk-ins may no longer be accepted for that day.  

A parent or guardian must be present for people under 18.

Vaccines are also available from health care providers and retail pharmacy outlets. To find a vaccine location near you, visit gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov.  

BOOSTER DOSES

Columbus Public Health is now offering the updated bivalent COVID-19 booster shots recommended by the CDC. Learn more about the CDC's recommendation here

Ages 6 years through 64 years

• Individuals previously vaccinated with one or more doses of monovalent COVID-19 vaccine who have not yet received a dose of a bivalent vaccine, may receive a single dose of a bivalent vaccine.

• Individuals who have already received a single dose of the bivalent vaccine are not currently eligible for another dose.

Ages 65 years and older

• Individuals who have received a single dose of a bivalent vaccine may receive one additional dose, at least four months following their initial bivalent dose.

Immunocompromised

• Immunocompromised individuals who have received a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine may receive a single additional dose of a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine, at least 2 months following a dose of a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine, and additional doses may be administered at the discretion of, and at intervals determined by, their healthcare provider.

Eligible residents are encouraged to bring their COVID-19 vaccine card with them.

Columbus Public Health offers free COVID-19 and flu vaccine to homebound Franklin County residents. To request a home visit:

THIRD DOSE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IMMUNOCOMPROMISED 

Individuals who qualify for a third dose of vaccine should first contact their healthcare provider to get vaccinated. Columbus Public Health also offers same day, walk-in vaccines. Learn more.
