Testing Clinic Registration is now open!

The Civil Service Commission was established to assure sound hiring and personnel practices in the government.  This testing clinic will provide insight into the history and purpose of the Civil Service Commission, an overview of the testing process from interest to eligible list, and a brief review of what to expect during the process.  The target audience for course is anyone considering employment with the City of Columbus and/or taking a Civil Service exam.

We will host Testing Clinics on the following dates/times: 

• Tuesday, March 21, 2023 (2:00 PM-4:00 PM)
• Friday, April 7, 2023 (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)
• Wednesday, April 19, 2023 (8:30 AM-10:30 AM)
• Thursday, May 25, 2023 (2:00 PM-4:00 PM)
• Friday, June 2, 2023 (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)
• Tuesday, June 20, 2023 (2:00 PM-4:00 PM)
• Friday, July 7, 2023 (9:00 AM-11:00 AM) 
• Friday, August 4, 2023 (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)
• Friday, September 1, 2023 (9:00 AM-11:00 AM)
• Tuesday, September 19, 2023 (2:00 PM-4:00 PM)
• Friday, October 6, 2023 (1:00 PM-3:00 PM)
• Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (8:30 AM-10:30 AM)

These Testing Clinics will be held at the Jerry Hammond Center, located at 1111 E. Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43205 
Current City of Columbus employees can register for a Civil Service Commission Testing Clinic by logging into the Training Gateway.  If you are not a current City of Columbus employee please register by visiting the Citywide Training and Development page and selecting “Registration form for General Public Customers" or by clicking here to complete the registration form.  Please note:  This is a FREE course.  Just enter your information, the date of the testing clinic that you would like to attend, and the course title: “Civil Service Commission Testing Clinic.”  Email your completed registration form to [email protected].  If you need assistance please do not hesitate to contact our offices at 614-645-8301 or contact Citywide Training and Development (CTD) at 614-645-8294.
