The bipartisan 2014 Columbus Charter Review Commission
The Columbus Charter Review Commission conducted a comprehensive review of the charter over the course of seven public working meetings and two public hearings. It sought and received feedback from the public at the hearings and through an online comments form, various email communications, social media, and other channels. The commission distributed notices, videos, and materials of each meeting, as well as links to the online comments form and to the commission’s email address. Staff posted all commission presentations, background documents, draft amendments, meeting minutes, meeting videos, public comment summaries, and bylaws on the Charter Review Commission’s webpage.
