What:
Council President Zach Klein is touring barbershops on the East Side, kicking-off at A Cut Above the Rest Barbershop.
"My top priority is centering City Council around community engagement," said Klein. "It is the only way we can identify problems and create solutions. Our work at City Hall is driven by resident input."
Klein plans to visit shops throughout year with the hopes of gaining knowledge and insight on the issues growing in our communities from residents of all ages.
“Barbershops and beauty salons are the soul of the community, where residents voice their concerns,” said Al Edmondson, owner of A Cut Above the Rest barber shop. “It is important for City Council to continue reaching out and connecting with barbers and stylists for information on issues facing our neighborhoods.”
