Councilmember Stinziano Named “Citizen of the Year” by Columbus REALTORS®
COLUMBUS, Ohio— Working to develop strong
relationships to build even stronger neighborhoods, Columbus City Councilmember
Michael Stinziano was named the Columbus REALTORS® 2016 Citizen of the Year for
his “exemplary business experience, conduct, civic activity and industry
involvement.”
“I thank Columbus REALTORS®, whose work
continues to uphold high standards of excellence among its association
membership and integrity in real estate practices,” said Stinziano. “I look
forward to working with them to help promote our neighborhoods and grow our
great City.”
Councilmember Stinziano was nominated for the
award by Columbus REALTORS® Director Emmanuel Remy. Remy is also the Northland

The award follows Councilmember Stinziano’s participation
and mentorship with the Columbus REALTORS® Leadership Academy, educating
Leadership Academy participants about the role and impact of local and state
government in the real estate industry.
Working with homeowners and real estate
professionals on legislative policy is a priority said Stinziano.
“We are focused on investing in thriving, safe
and age-friendly neighborhoods in Columbus,” he continued.
