J.S. Jindal, M.D.S.

Dr. J. S. Jindal, a retired dentist, worked for Ohio Rehabilitation & Corrections Department in Dental Services. His oldest son Bipender, a professional engineer, is the vice-President of CTL Engineering, younger son Sudhir, also a professional engineer, is a retired Colonel from the US Air Force and his youngest daughter Sadhna is a Travel Agent. He has eight grand children.

Dr. Jindal serves on Franklin County Alcohol Drug & Mental Health Board (ADAMH), American Red Cross Board of Columbus Region, Federation of Indian Associations Board (FIA), member of Mayor’s Religious Advisory Council, Community Relations Commission (CRC), Columbus Police/Fire Minority Rect. Council,  etc. He is the founding member and serves on the board of The Spiritual Sadhna Society, Interfaith Association of Central Ohio, Port Columbus Interfaith Services Board, Shiva Counseling Services, etc. 

Dr. Jindal is Chair of Columbus International Festival and Sr. Vice-President of India Festival.

He has enjoyed being on the Board of UNA/USA Columbus Chapter, Ohio Bicentennial Commission, Asian & Pak Cultural Association, and Advisory Commission of Governor’s Office of Faith Based Community Initiative.

Dr. Jindal got numerous awards and appreciation from Columbus Rotary, FIA, Columbus Police, Community Relations Commission, Red Cross Blood Services, ADAMH. He received Asian Leaders Legend Award in 2012, Jefferson Award in 2013 and so on for his service above self and social volunteer services etc.
