Couch to 5k Program
The Healthy Columbus 5K has
long been the 5K employees and their family members have used to get more
comfortable with running, but have never had a true training program available
to them every step of the way. This is your chance to take your training to the
next level and make the Healthy Columbus 5K, a running 5K. This program lasts
10-weeks and has been designed by running experts to gradually take you from
running a few minutes at a time to a culmination of the running the entire
Healthy Columbus 5K.
By signing up for the Couch
to 5K Training Program, you will receive:
· In depth week by week training schedules.
· Specific cross training workouts and stretching
routines geared towards running.
· Technique specific notifications about routine, habit,
running, nutrition, strength training and much more.
· Motivational messages to help you through the 10 weeks
of training.

Once you are registered, you will receive a welcome email the week of February
18 with your first 2 weeks of training, cross training workouts and a few
stretching routines to get you started. Then, every week you will receive an
email with the current week of training and the next week so you can plan
