Neighborhood Pride is a team effort by City departments, neighborhood groups and individual residents, businesses and schools and other partners to make our neighborhoods safer and cleaner, keys to a more vibrant and exciting future for Columbus.
Since its inception in 2000, the Neighborhood Pride Program has served over 100 areas and neighborhoods throughout the city. During this time, the program has inspected 89,659 parcels, repaired 3,274 streetlights, picked up 1,601 tons of bulk trash, inspected 36,816 catch basins, and painted 10,668 fire hydrants.
Neighborhood Pride has strengthened community activism, built stronger neighborhood/city relationships, and empowered neighborhoods and business to work with the City to improve their community.
