Flowing Kiss is a 2013 public art project by artist Lawrence Argent located in North Bank Park in Downtown Columbus.
Flowing Kiss consists of two sculptures installed in the stone
planters flanking Neil Avenue between Long and Spring Streets. Inspired by the City’s bicentennial, the art
was selected in June of 2013 by an art panel convened by the Columbus Art Commission. The Flowing Kiss sculptures are made of stainless steel, granite and marble, and stand approximately 18 feet tall.
Lawrence Argent, based in Denver,
Colorado, is a nationally regarded artist whose works range from the intimate
to the monumental. While visiting Columbus, Argent found that the concept of community
consistently emerged and the installation centers on that theme.
