Boards, Commissions, & Panels Membership
Board, Commission, and Panel Members serve in an important role to guide Columbus’ growth in a manner that preserves and enhances the unique character of each of our neighborhoods.
Members are appointed by the Mayor and serve in a volunteer capacity to review applications for certificates of appropriateness and approval for development in the city’s design review areas and historic districts. Development proposals can include new construction, exterior building modifications, exterior site improvements, and exterior graphics. We value Boards, Commissions, and Panels that are diverse and reflect the diversity of the citizens that make up the population of the City of Columbus.
