| Details: On February 24, 2023 at 7:10am, Patrol officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Kimball Place on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. She was subsequently pronounced deceased at 8:01am. The suspect, her live-in boyfriend, was subsequently arrested and charged in her death. He was taken to the Franklin County Jail. |

| Details: On February 22, 2023, at 9:41pm, Patrol Officers responded to the 2000 Block of Rankin Ave on a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid until Medics arrived. CFD EMS 13 transported the victim to a local area Hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving life-saving medical care, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 10:30pm. |

| Details: On February 22, 2023, at 9:42 p.m., Patrol officers responded on a shooting call to the 3000 block of Parsons Avenue. Family received a call that Edward Sluder had killed his wife, Marion Sluder, and was going to take his own life. Patrol found both victims inside the residence. They were pronounced dead by the Columbus Division of Fire. |

| Details: On Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 4:34AM, the Columbus Emergency Communications Center received several calls via the 911 system reporting a shooting in the area of the 1000 block of N 9th St. On arrival, Columbus Police found 21-year-old James Shearer suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 7 responded and, at 4:50AM, pronounced Shearer deceased at scene. |

| Details: On February 12, 2023, at 5:54am, Columbus Police Officers responded to the 5000 Block of Red Bird Court on a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located an unresponsive victim, Mr. Nathaniel Spears M/B/30, lying in a grassy area in front of this location. The victim was transported to a local Hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving lifesaving medical care, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 6:22am by medical personnel. The initial investigation indicates that the victim and suspect were in some type of altercation which led to the shooting. At this time, Homicide Investigators are investigating claims of self defense. The completed investigation will be forwarded to the Franklin County Grand Jury for final review and consideration. |

Details: On February 1, 2023, at 2:43 PM, Columbus Police officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Brookside Ct. on a reported shooting. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, identified as MUSA M. ALIYOW, M/B/20, in the 700 block of Countrybrook Dr. E. The victim was unresponsive with signs of visible injury. Prairie Township medics were dispatched to the scene and the victim was transported to a local hospital.
On February 9, 2023, at 3:32 AM, the victim was pronounced deceased. Next of kin notification has been made. This incident remains under investigation. |

At scene officers located two men, 60-year-old Ronald Price and 37-year-old T.G., suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both men were transported by CFD medics to Riverside Methodist Hospital where Price was pronounced deceased at 1:38AM. |
