| Details: On April 20, 2021, at 3:38am, Patrol Officers were dispatched to the rear of 293 E. 15th Avenue on a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, Mr. Dell Fields Jr, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Mr. Fields was transported to a local area hospital by CFD Medic #18 where he was treated for his injuries. Despite receiving life saving medical treatment, Mr. Fields succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at 5:36am. At this time, the motive for this incident is still unclear. |

The only suspect information we have is a silver car pulled along side the vehicle the victim was driving, fired shots, and sped off, according to witnesses. |

The victim was transported to Riverside Methodist hospital where she was later pronounced dead. There is no suspect information at this time. |

Details: On April 4, 2021, at approximately 3:03 AM, a resident in the area of 1370 Republic Avenue, called
Columbus Police Radio to report that there was a suspicious white vehicle, parked in the alley. The caller said they approached the vehicle and asked the driver to move from the area. When the driver did not respond, the caller called for a police response. Once Columbus Police Patrol Officers arrived, they opened the door of the vehicle and noticed that the driver appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound and was not breathing. The officers immediately contacted police radio to ask for a medic to respond. CFD Medic 16 responded and pronounced the victim at 3:22 am. |
