| Details: On Saturday, April 3, 2021 at approximately 12:28a.m., a juvenile victim was a passenger in a vehicle that had been driven to the area of 5673 Larksdale Drive. A companion in the vehicle was there to fight a resident at that address. As they approached the residence, someone in a black sedan with tinted windows rolled down the drivers side window and began firing a gun at the victim. The victim was struck in the head. The victims fled from the scene and were chased by the suspects vehicle southbound on Galloway Road. The suspect continued to fire at victims, striking the vehicle several more times. Franklin County Deputies were initially flagged down and rendered aid to the victim until medics arrived. The victim was pronounced dead on October 8, 2021. On February 9, 2022, the Montgomery County Coroner's office ruled this case a homicide, due to the victim dying as a result of the injuries inflicted on April 3, 2021. This case was reassigned to Homicide and will be the 205th homicide of 2021. |

Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, Mr. Tyshawn Dickerson M/B/15yoa, unresponsive and suffering from a gun shot wound. CFD Medic #20 pronounced the victim deceased at 8:20am. |

CFD Medic 17 transported victim to Grant hospital in critical but stable condition. On December 20, 2021, Detectives learned that the victim, Mr. Anthony Merchant M/B/58, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on December 19, 2021 at 12:24am. |

| Details: On Wednesday, December 8, 2021, Patrol received a call on a burned body located beneath an underpass near the 500 block of Edgar Waldo Way. Columbus Division of Fire Arson investigators and Columbus Division of Police Homicie investigators responded to the scene. The victim was burnt beyond recognition. The Coroner's office responded and the victim was sent to the Franklin County Morgue for autopsy. On December 12, 2021, Columbus Homicide investigators were notified by the Franklin County Coroner's office that this would be a homicide. The victim was identified as a male, but that is all the information we have at this time. There is no suspect information at this time. |

Upon arrival, Officers observed a blood trail; however, were unable to locate a victim. A short time later, Officers received information that a walk-in shooting victim arrived at OSU Hospital in critical condition. The victim, Mr. Fentahun Mengistu, despite receiving emergency lifesaving medical treatment, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 11:19pm. At this time, investigators are attempting to determine the circumstances associated with this incident. Investigators obtained information that the victim was shot at from a motor vehicle that fled the area. |
