Upon arrival, officers located the victim, Ms. Heather Chapman F/W/33, suffering from a gunshot wound. CFD EMS #13 arrived at scene and pronounced the victim deceased at 9:22pm. Due to some suspicious circumstances, Homicide Detectives responded to scene and began an investigation. Update February 24, 2022: The death of the victim, Heather Chapman, is being investigated as a Homicide. |

Officers arrived at scene and found evidence of a shooting but no victim. Officers received updated information that the victim was being transported by victim #2 to an area hospital. Victim #2 flagged down officers in the 1800 Block of E. Dublin-Granville Rd., they rendered aid to the victim until Clinton Twsp Medic 61 arrived. Victim #1 was then transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 7:57 am. |
