Upon arrival, officers located the victim, J.J., inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The vehicle that the victim occupied, had also struck a residence. The victim was subsequently transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Update: Mr. Jones died on 6/29/2022 at 5:55 a.m. |

While the officers were en route, the Emergency Communications Center received a report of two people shot at that location. On arrival, officers found 24-year-old Neal Smith and a 34-year-old female, D.P., suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. CFD Medic 20 transported Smith to OSU East Hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased at 10:58PM. |
