| Details: On September 17, 2017, at approximately 10:10 p.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of West Broad Street and North Wheatland Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as Benjamin Isaac Blackwell Jr., in front of 2329 West Broad Street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 17 responded to the scene and transported Mr. Blackwell to Mt. Carmel West Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 9:52 a.m. on September 18, 2017 by attending physicians. |

| Details: On Thursday, August 31, 2017, at approximately 1:32 p.m. CPD Officers and Medics were dispatched to the area of Joyce Avenue and Republic Avenue on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found the victims laying on the porch at 2328 Republic Avenue, suffering from gunshot wounds. Victim #1 was transported to Grant Hospital E.R., by Mifflin Township Medic #132, and Victim #2 was transported to O.S.U. Hospital E.R., by C.F.D. Medic #16. Both victims had life threatening injuries. Victim #1 succumbed to his injuries at approximately 4:15 p.m. Victim #2 is expected to survive. The investigation continues. Victim 2 succumbed to his injuries on September 8, 2017, at approximately 8:09 p.m., at O.S.U. Hospital. |

Upon arrival, officers did locate the victim, later identified as Lavan Theodore Davis, in front of the address suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. CFD Medic 21 arrived at the scene and transported Mr. Davis to Grant Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by attending physicians at 10:58 p.m. |

Upon arrival, officers did locate the victim, later identified as Robert Antonio Marshall Jr., in front of a nearby apartment building, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. CFD Medic 23 arrived at the scene and transported Mr. Marshall to Grant Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by attending physicians at 11:44 p.m. |
