Chad Braun,
MD serves as the chief medical officer at Equitas Health where he oversees
medical operations and strategy and also provides patient care. In this role, he
is working to increase the organization’s capacity to address LGBTQ health
disparities and deliver high quality care for all people. Dr. Braun has been a
leader in improving health outcomes for LGBTQ individuals and other medically
underserved populations for 15 years. Prior to joining Equitas Health, he served
as the Director of Medical Education for Mount Carmel Health System.
Dr. Braun received his medical degree from the University of
Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at
Riverside Methodist Hospital. He also completed an Academic Fellowship in
Family Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill.
