Karen Morrison, Vice President, Public Affairs, has been with OhioHealth for nearly 20 years.  Ms. Morrison is a hospital administrator and executive lobbyist leading the corporate strategy for external relations including community relations, community health and government affairs. OhioHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.  It consists of 14 hospitals and ambulatory centers and generates $1.8 billion in net patient revenues, encompassing over 16,000 employees and 2,600 physicians.  

Ms. Morrison completed her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee; her graduate degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health and she earned the Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.

Ms. Morrison is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Public Affairs Council and the American Public Health Association. She serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Capital University, the YWCA and Access HealthColumbus. Additionally, she volunteers with the American Heart Association and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Franklin County.  In 2006, Ms. Morrison was appointed to serve on the National Executive Council of The Links, Inc. 

She is married to Gregory E. Morrison, M.D., a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and they have two daughters, Sarah and Blaire.
