In 2015, Columbus Public Health created a School Travel Plan to outline the steps Columbus City Schools will take to encourage active transportation in its students. This plan incorporates evidence-based findings from a health impact assessment of the school district to address both infrastructure and non-infrastructure improvements. The travel plan will impact over 36,000 students across Columbus.
