How to Get Involved

  • Medical Reserve Corps  -  Teams of local volunteer medical, public health and other professionals that contribute skills and expertise during times of disaster and public health emergency in addition to ongoing community health promotion.
  • Citizen Emergency Response Team   - Teams take an active role in emergency preparedness projects in their communities by assisting neighbors and coworkers following an event in which professional responders are not immediately available to help.
  • The Ohio Regional Animal Response Team  - Assist local, regional, and state-level animal stakeholders, organizations, businesses, and individuals by improving animal emergency plans, and conducting animal activities, exercises, and responses.
  • Serve Ohio   - Ohio's state agency for community service and volunteerism.
