Whether you bike to work or school; ride to save money or time; pump those pedals to preserve your health or the environment; or simply to explore your community, National Bike Month is an opportunity to celebrate the unique power of the bicycle and the many reasons we ride. OHIO BICYCLING SUMMIT
TUESDAY MAY 2, 9AM-3PM
The 4th Annual Ohio Bicycling Summit, hosted by Ohio Bike Federation, will give organizations and clubs an opportunity to exchange best practices about bicycling at Ohio. Public registration is free.

DIRT SCHOOL BY COMBO

MAY 6, 9AM-11AM
Dirt School students will learn basic mountain bike skills, trail safety and etiquette. Skills covered include body position, braking, shifting, climbing, bike/body separation, and much more. We will cover the fundamentals of mountain biking, practice those skills in an open field and then put those skills to the test on a guided trail ride. Functional mountain bike, helmet and closed toed shoes are required.

Year of Yay! is a series of 12 monthly bicycle tours that are FREE for Yay Bikes! members and first-time guests, and features a different theme each month. This month, their theme is
'April Showers, May Flowers.' This no-drop ride is 20-ish miles but rolls at a
conversational pace and is appropriate for riders of all ages and skill levels.

Retired geologist Scott Brockman will lead a geology tour on bicycles starting at the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park. The 2 hour tour will head east along the Camp Chase Trail.
