Culture Walks
Columbus Public Health and the Columbus
Landmarks Foundation introduce the new Spirit of Neighborhoods: Culture
Walks – a series of free walking tours that celebrate historic Columbus
neighborhoods.
The 90 minute walks, which focus on
neighborhoods that have shaped the City of Columbus geographically, culturally and
socially, include Parsons Avenue, Hanford Village, King-Lincoln and Westgate.
The neighborhoods were selected for rich and diverse histories that were
impacted by migration, immigration, urbanization, industrialization and
marginalization.
Advanced registration
is not required. Tours will begin promptly at the time and location
listed below.
Walks will
continue in light rain. In the event inclement weather forces the cancellation
of the walk, check Columbus Landmarks Foundation’s Facebook page for updates.
