Infectious Disease InvestigationInvestigates reported cases of communicable disease, monitors disease in the community, and prevents the spread of disease. The team ensures proper investigation and follow-up of all reported cases of communicable disease, conducts disease surveillance, implements prevention strategy, educates residents, and manages Perinatal Hepatitis B cases.
Infectious Disease Reporting System (IDRS) IDRS is a 24-hour phone line for reporting to Columbus Public Health or Franklin County Public Health. This is for health care practitioners and laboratories only.
