About the Coalition
When trauma happens to one, it happens to all.
The Columbus CARE Coalition provides hope and healing to individuals, families and neighborhoods experiencing trauma.
When we build up individuals and families in a crisis, we help build up entire neighborhoods. The Columbus CARE Coalition gives people the power to help themselves, their neighbors and the entire community.
Strength is at the core of healing from trauma, and the Columbus CARE Coalition provides the services and care you need, when and where you need them, to be strong again.
The Columbus CARE Coalition:
Creates awareness and equips people and organizations to look at trauma through a different lens in order to respond in a positive and consistent way.
Is a collaborative community effort that provides everything you need: Community, Action, Resilience and Empowerment.
Engages community leaders, organizations and partners to understand the needs of the community and to get key stakeholders involved in a coordinated community effort.
Enriches its members by providing Trauma Informed Care trainings and networking opportunities.
Provides consistent and positive care and support throughout the community, benefiting residents, neighborhoods, coalition partners – and everyone.
