Public Swimming Pools and Spas

Pool SideColumbus Pubic Health licenses and inspects public pools, spas, and spray grounds within the City of Columbus and Worthington.  This includes pools and spas at community centers, hotels, and apartment complexes.  Columbus Public Health is also dedicated to providing training for pool and spa operators.  This training and inspections work together to ensure health and safety are maintained at the facilities.

   

Pool and Spa Fee Schedule

         
  • Certified Pool Operator® Course - This two-day course is designed to help broaden knowledge for the operation of swimming pools, spas, and spray grounds in our community. This is an internationally recognized training course that provides successful participants with an individual certification. There is a fee for this course and materials.
