City of Columbus Puts Map of Parking Meters Online
Need a parking meter in the
city of Columbus? Finding one is as easy as a click of your mouse or using your
Smartphone or device.
The city of Columbus has
placed a map of the city’s parking meters on the city’s Web site as one way in
which motorists can easily find public parking options in the city.
“This is another tool to
enhance the public’s ability to find available parking spaces in our city,”
said Reynaldo Stargell, administrator in charge of the Traffic Management
Division of the Department of Public Service. The traffic management division
oversees public parking meters in the city.
“Our goal is to make it as
simple as possible to find public parking meters,” Stargell said.
Motorists can find the map on
the Department’s Web site at this address: https://www.columbus.gov/parkingmetermap.aspx.
Visitors to the site will be
able to see a map of operational parking meters throughout Columbus. Additional
links on the Web site show how long the meters go for in minutes as well
provide the ability to report a broken meter.
Parking meters in Columbus
accept credit and debit cards in addition to coins.
