Columbus Recreation and Parks Department Hosts Kids Run
COLUMBUS –
Columbus Recreation and
Parks Department is excited to announce the annual Kids Run. In partnership
with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon and Highlights for
Children, this event is FREE for all residents and promotes healthy lifestyle
choices. There will be a run for each age group of children (up to age 12)
starting with our toddler “Diaper Dash” at 10 a.m. All registered participants
will receive a medal for participation.

for online registration.
The health and safety of
participants and staff is a top priority, and strong safety protocols remain in
place to ensure everyone’s safety. These include social distancing – staying
six feet away from others – with an understanding of the challenges and
limitations for social distancing with very young children and individuals with
disabilities. Effective Monday, Aug. 16, all City of Columbus employees and
