Kick Off the Holiday Season with WinterFest
Columbus Recreation and Parks Department Celebrates Season of Giving
COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Recreation and Parks Department (CRPD) invites the community to enjoy the third annual WinterFest on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in Bicentennial Park. This event is a great way to kick off the holiday season, featuring live music, seasonal ales from hometown breweries and favorite dishes from Columbus food trucks.
Nationally recognized artist Ben Miller Band will headline the Bicentennial Stage. The Vindys and George Barrie Band will also be performing during the event.
Food trucks will include: 3DX Food Truck, Broke Johnny Food Truck, Buckeye Donuts, Paddy Wagon Food, Pitabilities, Kenny's Meat Wagon, The Cheesy Truck, The Tasty Good, Tortilla Street Food and Totally Baked LLC.
Since this is the season of giving, all tips from beverage sales will go to support Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
In addition to WinterFest, the Scioto Mile will be aglow with thousands of twinkling lights adding an air of festivity to downtown Columbus.
