Community Recreation Council (CRC)
The CRC is a non-profit organization established to, “Support, foster, and aid the services, facilities, and programs of the city of Columbus, Ohio as conducted at the city's recreation centers.”
The CRC is structured with an executive committee overseeing chapters at each of the city’s Community Recreation Centers in addition to additional chapters supporting each of the following program areas: Outdoor Education, Therapeutic Recreation, Cheer and Dance, Gymnastics, Teens, Tennis and Boxing. Members fundraise to support their chapter through grants, concession stands and more. Using the funds they’ve raised, chapters help to prioritize upgrades to equipment, facilities and programming.
To get involved in a CRC Chapter, please contact the Director at your local Community Recreation Center for more information.
