The site for Lindbergh Park was acquired in 1960 and developed in 1967 by the City of Columbus. The park sits adjacent to Lindberg Elementary School, and across Briggs Road from Briggs High School.
2016 Arbor Day Event
Since 1979, The Columbus
Recreation and Parks Department has celebrated Arbor Day and been a part of
Tree City USA. On Friday, April 29, at 11:00am, The Columbus Recreation and Parks
Department, Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, Councilmember Page and Columbus Recreation
and Parks Commissioners will observe this annual event by planting trees at
Lindbergh Park. Helping with the morning activities, will be the fourth
graders from Lindbergh Elementary.
