Summer Camps

The online version of the 2017 Guide to Summer Fun will be available in Mid-February and the hard copy will be in centers in early March.

Thursday, March 16 at 7 pm – Registration for Outdoor Education Camps (Indian Village, Camp Terra, Camp Terra Preschool and Camp Walnut) will begin. 

Saturday, March 18 at 10 am – Registration for Center Camps (Barnett, Buckeye, Far East, Lazelle, Whetstone and Woodward), Horseback Riding, Camp Public Health, Police and Fire Exploration,  Sports Camps (Basketball, Cheerleading, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Strength & Conditioning, Tennis and Track), Arts Camps (Great Art Getaway, Dance, Lights, Camera…Camp and Teen Clay Academy), Therapeutic Camps and Discover Boating.

Summer Fun - Don't Let Being Sick Get in the Way!

It is important to note that central Ohio has recently been seeing many more cases of contagious illnesses such as mumps, measles and pertussis. These all can be easily prevented. Keep summertime safe! Listed below are a few pointers that can prevent illness, and are great lessons to teach and model for children.

  • Keep Immunizations Up-to-Date
  • Wash Your Hands Frequently
  • Cover a Cough or Sneeze
  • Stay Home if You are Feeling Ill
  • Don't Share Items such as Water Bottles and Forks
