Blueprint Clintonville: Schreyer/Springs Area Green Infrastructure

The Schreyer/Springs Area Green Infrastructure project will construct rain gardens along Schreyer Place, Springs Dr., Village Dr., Fairlawn Dr., Colerain Ave., Fairoaks Dr., Lawnview Dr., and Eastlea Dr.

The goal of the project is to provide detention and water quality improvement to rain water that will be redirected from the sanitary sewer system by future Blueprint projects. For more information see the Blueprint Columbus project summary. Construction is expected to begin in late summer 2016.

The estimated construction cost is approximately $1.8 million. Financing is being provided through a below market-rate loan through the OEPA’s Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) Program. Prior to granting this loan, the Ohio EPA required a detailed submittal from the Division of Sewerage and Drainage to determine the project’s eligibility.

The Ohio EPA has completed a Limited Environmental Review (LER) for this project. View the LER and the letter of "Notice of Issuance of a Limited Environmental Review and Final Finding of No Significant Impact to All Interested Citizens, Organizations and Government Agencies."
