Blueprint Clintonville: Weisheimer/Indian Springs Area - Permeable Pavement
The Weisheimer/Indian Springs Area Permeable Pavement project will replace the existing asphalt pavement with permeable pavers within the following limits: Foster Street from Indian Springs Drive to Cooke Road, Cooke Way from Cooke Road to Henderson Road, the unnamed Alley from Cooke Way to Henderson Road, Dominion Boulevard from Shields Place to Sellers Avenue, and Dixon Court east of Sellers Avenue.
The goal of the project is to provide detention and water quality improvement to rain water that will be redirected from the sanitary sewer system by future Blueprint projects. For more information see the Blueprint Columbus project summary. Construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2017.
The estimated construction cost is approximately $3.5 million. Financing is being provided through a below market-rate loan through the OEPA’s Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) Program. Prior to granting this loan, the Ohio EPA required a detailed submittal from the Division of Sewerage and Drainage to determine the project’s eligibility.
The Ohio EPA has completed a Limited Environmental Review (LER) for this project. View the LER and letter of "Notice of Issuance of a Limited Environmental Review and Final Finding of No Significant Impact to All Interested Citizens, Organizations and Government Agencies."
