The Columbus Income Tax Division provides the service of collection, audit, and enforcement of the 2.5% income tax for the City of Columbus, as well as the excise lodging tax for the City of Columbus and the Franklin County Convention and Facilities Authority.     Admissions Tax Effective July 1, 2019, the City of Columbus will levy a 5% tax on amounts received as admission to any place located within the City of Columbus. For more details and resources, please click here.

    E-file E-pay

    Easy File and Payment Portal Taxpayers can use our Easy File application to file Form IR-25 (please note that first-time filers must paper file), make outstanding liability payments, and make Civil Suit payments online. Taxpayers who need to file and pay forms IT-11, IT-15, IR-21, BR-21, IR-18, BR-18, IR-42, and BR-42 can use our Payment Portal application to file online. Learn more.
