Blueprint Linden Green Infrastructure Projects

Blueprint Columbus expands into the Linden area to reduce sanitary sewer overflows through improving current infrastructure, repurposing abandoned properties for stormwater control and adding green infrastructure in neighborhoods.


Blueprint Linden - TSS Regional Bioretention Basins
This project will construct bioretention basins on multiple City owned properties to provide detention and water quality improvement to rain water that will be redirected from the sanitary sewer system by future Blueprint projects. Construction is expected to begin in 2022.


Linview Park Green Infrastructure
This joint project will construct a new bioretention basin and expand an existing wetland on City owned property located immediately south of the intersection of Fern Place and Linview Avenue. New park facilities will be constructed around the periphery of the proposed basin and wetland. 


Artane - Parkwood Area Green Infrastructure
This project will provide detention and water quality improvement to rain water that will be redirected from the sanitary sewer system by future Blueprint projects. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2018 with an estimated cost of $3 million and financing provided through an OEPA below market-rate loan.


Hudson - McGuffey Area Green Infrastructure
This project will provide detention and water quality improvement to rain water that will be redirected from the sanitary sewer system by future Blueprint projects. Construction is expected to begin mid-2023, to wrap up by the end of 2024.
