Columbus City Council appointed Jacquelin R. Lewis as the new City Auditor starting on May 4, 2026 to fill the term of the previous Auditor, Megan Kilgore, who had resigned before the end of her term for a position in the private sector. City Charter requires the position to be filled at all times and the Columbus City Council voted unanimously to appoint Lewis.
