Sustainable Columbus works to reduce climate change impact in our community to protect the environment and improve the quality of life for all – for today’s residents and for future generations. We shape policy and create actionable programming to improve our city’s environment, and we give residents the tools to incorporate sustainability into their everyday lives.
Our community is upping its ambition, and is committed to bold goals of 45% emissions reduction by 2030 to ensure Columbus is doing its fair share to combat global climate change. The 2050 goal is carbon neutral. This is part of the city's community roadmap to equity, health, and prosperity for all Columbus families. The plan leads with ambition, guided by science and centered in equity. Click here for more!
