Blueprint North Linden 1 – Agler/Berrell Roof Redirection

This project will redirect or replace roof drain downspouts from selected homes in the project area. Roof drains will be redirected away from house foundations to the curb or other suitable outlet.

The project is approximately bounded by Agler on the north, Berrell and Parkwood on the east, Genessee on the South, and Cleveland on the west.

The goal of this project is to reduce stormwater from entering the sanitary sewer system. Construction is expected to begin in third quarter of 2023 and complete by third quarter, 2024.

Each impacted resident will receive written notifications from the City's contractor prior to the work commencing. The notifications will give information on timing of the work and contact information.

Financing for this project is being provided through the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency's Water Pollution Control Loan Fund Program with a below market-rate loan. Prior to granting this loan, the Ohio EPA required a detailed submittal from the Division of Sewerage and Drainage to determine the project's eligibility.

The Ohio EPA has completed a Limited Environmental Review (LER) for this project. View the LER and the letter(PDF, 601KB) of "Notice of Issuance of a Limited Environmental Review and Final Finding of No Significant Impact to All Interested Citizens, Organizations and Government Agencies."
