Ubuntu Conversation Series

The third session of the Ubuntu Conversation Series dedicated to youths (Our future leaders), will take place on September 5^th, and it will be held on the theme: My Voice, My Power: Enhancing Youth Civic Engagement and Participation. Considering the last two sessions where we discussed “The Columbus we Want” and “Stronger Together” for a more inclusive and prosperous city, this third session will be held with a goal to elevate the youth engagement challenge, and motivate but also identify resources and support for increased investment. Join us for an exciting night of intergenerational engagement.

Time: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

MLK Oratorical

2024 Youth Oratorical Contest

Registration is now open for students in grades K to 12 to showcase their oratorical skills in the 2024 contest. This is a prime opportunity for students to hone their public speaking skills and nurture their self-confidence. The event will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the CCAD Canzani Center, located at 60 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and end around 2 p.m. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Learn more and register by clicking here!
