Human Services Resources

Overview

The City of Columbus is committed to building a more compassionate, prosperous and supportive community. Through the Department of Development, we partner with local organizations to expand access to shelter, health services, financial security and housing stability for residents in need.

By investing in nonprofit partners and launching targeted programs, we help residents overcome barriers to opportunity — from homelessness prevention and infant vitality to workforce development and economic mobility. Together, with our community partners, we work every day to improve quality of life for Columbus families.
