City Treasurer

The Columbus City Treasurer is appointed by Columbus City Council and is the custodian of all city funds.

The Treasurer is responsible for:

  1. The receipt of all city funds;
  2. The disbursement of city funds upon warrant of the City Auditor;
  3. The investment of all excess funds not needed for daily operations to earn income for the city and its citizens.
