Working with federal authorities and cybersecurity experts, the City of Columbus continues its investigation and response to a July cybersecurity incident.
Columbus Public Health (CPH) Ben Franklin TB Program serves as the local authority for all aspects of TB surveillance, medical management, and prevention and control for Franklin County, as specified under Ohio Revised Code 339.71-339.89.
Program activities are prioritized in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines and focus on the following:
Services are provided by appointment at the Ben Franklin TB Clinic.
Students that attend preschool and K- 12 in districts contracted with the TB Clinic for testing services must obtain a referral from the school district enrollment center before scheduling an appointment.
Individuals seeking routine or administrative testing for housing or employment, including workers in health care, should contact their primary care provider or one of the clinics below to schedule a TB test.
Education for TB surveillance and reporting, infection control and treatment is available upon request.
