Urbanization and increases in impervious surfaces (hard, non-porous) are significant threats to the protection of high-quality drinking water sources & aquatic habitats. You can take many simple steps at home to protect our water supply. See “Keep It Clean” for more information.
Benefits of protecting our watershed include: quality drinking water sources, clean rivers for recreation, healthy habitat for plants, fish and animals.
