Project Taillight changes lives and improves public safety by providing free auto repairs for lower-income Columbus residents. The program brings the public and private sectors together to address a need in our community, frees up law enforcement to focus on serious and violent crime, and makes our roads and neighborhoods safer for everyone. Project Taillight covers repairs that could cause drivers to be pulled over by state highway patrol for unsafe vehicles and subjected to vehicle inspections (ORC Title 45, Chapter 4513, Section 4513.02).
