Mayor Ginther, Supt. Chapman Launch Traffic Safety Awareness Week

Mayor Ginther and Superintendent Dr. Angela Chapman launched Traffic Safety Awareness Week at Hilltonia Middle School, debuting a new push-button crosswalk on W. Mound Street. Running April 20-24, the initiative supports Vision Zero Columbus, the city’s program to end fatal crashes by 2035. Students will participate in safety curricula while police focus on reducing speeds in school zones.
